Designed by us, built by us
Full home interior design and renovation — space planning, 3D design and project management, with every cabinet manufactured in-house at our own Tampines factory. No carpentry subcontractor, no mark-up on the biggest line item in your budget.
What’s shaping homes in 2026
Warm minimalism over stark white
Clean layouts are staying, but the grey-and-white palette is giving way to warm sand, taupe and light-timber tones.
Slim, handleless carpentry
Thick, boxy cabinetry is giving way to slim-profile, handleless designs with push-to-open mechanisms.
Multi-functional rooms
Study nooks that convert to guest space, platform beds with storage — smaller flats are designing for flexibility, not fixed single-use rooms.
Low-formaldehyde board as standard
E0/ENF-grade plywood is increasingly the baseline ask for carpentry, not a premium upgrade.
Full renovation, one point of contact
Most interior design firms design your space, then subcontract the build — including carpentry — to third parties and manage the handoffs. Here’s what DESACE handles directly.
Space Planning & Concept
Layout, flow and design direction developed around how you actually use the space.
3D Visualisation
See the design before anything is built, so there are no surprises at handover.
In-House Carpentry
Kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, TV consoles and built-ins manufactured at our Tampines factory — not subcontracted.
Flooring & Wet Works
Tiling, waterproofing and flooring coordinated through licensed trade partners on your project timeline.
Electrical & Lighting
Rewiring, lighting design and fixture installation coordinated through licensed electrical partners.
Project Management
One point of contact from design through handover — not six separate contractors to chase.

Made in Tampines, by us
Our 9006 Tampines Street 93 facility houses design, carpentry, upholstery and quality control under one roof. When you commission DESACE, you’re engaging the same craftspeople who’ve built furniture for Parliament House and Changi Airport — applied to your home renovation. This is the factory floor behind every carpentry line item on your quote — not a third-party workshop we’ve never visited.

What actually drives your renovation cost
Generic price ranges aren’t that useful — your flat’s actual scope and condition move the number more than any headline figure. Here’s what really drives it.
BTO vs. resale
Resale flats need hacking, rewiring and waterproofing that a new BTO skips — that changes the starting point before any design decision is made.
Scope of work
A kitchen and one wardrobe is a very different budget from a full-flat renovation touching every room.
Material tier
Laminate, veneer, acrylic, quartz — each step up in material multiplies cost, often more than people expect going in.
Carpentry volume
Kitchen cabinets, wardrobes and built-ins are usually the single largest line item in any Singapore renovation — and the one DESACE keeps in-house.
Because DESACE manufactures carpentry ourselves instead of subcontracting it to a third-party workshop, that line item doesn’t carry the usual middleman mark-up. The only number worth trusting is an itemised quote based on your actual flat and scope.
Before you reach out
How much does a full home interior design and renovation cost in Singapore?
Renovation costs in Singapore vary enormously by property type, condition and scope, so a generic price range isn’t that useful when your flat’s actual numbers could sit well outside it. What consistently drives the final figure: whether you’re renovating a BTO or a resale flat (resale needs hacking, rewiring and waterproofing a BTO skips), how much of the home you’re touching, your material tier, and how much carpentry the project involves — carpentry is typically the single largest line item in any Singapore renovation. Because DESACE manufactures all carpentry in-house at our Tampines factory instead of subcontracting it out, that line item doesn’t carry the usual middleman mark-up. What’s included in DESACE’s interior design service?
Space planning and design concept development, 3D visualisation, material and finish selection, in-house carpentry manufacturing, and full project management coordinating flooring, electrical and wet works through licensed trade partners. Unlike most ID firms that subcontract carpentry to a third-party workshop and add a management fee on top, DESACE manufactures every cabinet in our own factory in Tampines — the same in-house model used on commercial projects for Parliament House and Changi Airport for over 16 years.
Does DESACE handle a full renovation, or just carpentry?
DESACE project-manages full home renovations, not just carpentry — space planning, 3D design, material selection, and coordinating flooring, electrical and wet works through licensed trade partners, while manufacturing all carpentry ourselves at our Tampines factory. This in-house-carpentry model is the same one used for 16 years on commercial fit-outs for hotels, restaurants and Changi Airport, now applied to full residential renovations.
How long does a full home renovation take in Singapore?
A BTO flat with minimal hacking typically takes 8–12 weeks from design confirmation to handover; a resale flat with hacking, rewiring and waterproofing usually adds 3–6 weeks on top. Carpentry is usually the longest lead-time item in any renovation — because DESACE manufactures it in-house rather than queuing behind a third-party workshop’s other clients, we can often compress that bottleneck. Exact timelines are confirmed during your design consultation.
What’s the difference between an interior designer and a contractor?
An interior designer focuses on space planning and material selection, typically subcontracting construction — including carpentry — to separate workshops, then managing that process for a fee. DESACE combines both roles: we design the space and manufacture the carpentry ourselves, removing one layer of subcontractor mark-up on the single biggest line item in a typical renovation budget.
Do you work on BTO, resale, condo, and landed properties?
Yes. Each property type has different renovation logic — a BTO needs no hacking, a resale flat usually needs hacking, rewiring and waterproofing first, a condo renovation works within MCST restrictions and deposits, and landed homes involve significantly larger scope. We scope and quote each project type differently rather than applying one flat package to all four.
